For the month of April, Western recognizes Arab Americans past and present, celebrates the diverse heritages and acknowledges our Arab community here on-campus.

Wednesday, April 16, 4:15 pm, Locust Beach
Join us for an afternoon walk around locust beach! Carpool spots are limited, sign up link can be found in the WWU Arab Student Association’s bio.
Friday, April 18, 12:00 pm, MCC Kitchen
Join us to learn more about the intersectional identity of Undocumented Arabs as we honor Undocu-month. Partnership with the Blue Resource Center.
Wednesday, April 23, 12:00 pm, VU 735
Join us to learn about gender expression and fluidity in Arab culture as we celebrate Gaypril. Partnership with LGBTQ+ Western.
Friday, April 25, 5:00 pm, VU Multipurpose Room
Wrap up Arab American Heritage Month with the Middle Eastern Student Association’s heritage dinner! Tickets can be found in the WWU Middle Eastern Student Association’s bio a week prior to the event; revenue will be donated to Palestinian relief organizations.
